All races are open to any Collegiate, High School or Secondary School in the World. For clarification, a student is considered a high school student , for the purpose of entry into this regatta, once they have enrolled in Grade 9 Full-Time. All Contestants who have been in regular day school attendance for the current School Term, have the certification of the School Principal and are under 19 years of age on January 1, of the year of the competition may participate in this event.

2017 is now in the record books for the 72nd CSSRA Championships. I want to congratulate all the athletes that competed this year there was many exciting races over the 3 days of competition. I also want to Congratulate the 36 new CSSRA Champions and all the medalists.
These Championships can not happen with out the over 300 great Volunteers who make sure everyone gets the experience that they had hoped for. For those Senior athletes who have competed in their last CSSRA Championships I hope that your High School rowing experience was fulfilling.
I would also like to Thank the Canadian Henley Rowing Corp. for their continuous support to high school rowing, Ontario Power Generation for the water flow reducutions during racing and the Niagara Region Water Wagon and Sun Hut who were on site during race times to keep eveyone Hydrated and suppling sun screen during the Regatta.
